The Carolina Fund – No General Meeting – 9/9/15
Posted on September 9, 2015 by Alex Newbegin
Neither The Carolina Fund nor the CFIA will be meeting this week. We are taking this week to allow our research teams that were assigned at last week’s meeting to meet and prepare pitches for the next few weeks. If you are on a pitch team, you should have already received an email from your team leaders about meeting times. If you are not in a pitch team but want to get involved in a pitch soon, we will be assigning new pitch teams after our first round of security pitches next week.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday the 16th of September along with the CFIA. We will be hearing at least one stock pitch. We will get you details about what time, what room and what security will be pitched at that meeting. For us to effectively vet securities, we need those not pitching at meetings to bring plenty of questions. Once we establish what security is being pitched, please do some individual research about the security and be ready to ask questions about the presentation.
Best of luck to our two pitch teams this week as they prepare for our meeting next week. Looking forward to seeing you then.
